Workplace culture comes from its leadership. As a leader, if you tolerate or ignore sexist behaviour you send the signal that it’s okay in your work environment. The same is true if you don’t enforce policies put in place to stop those behaviours. You also send the signal to women in your company that they are not safe, supported, or valued.
